Why these guidelines exist
The Discord exists to support disciplined traders — to talk through market structure, share preparation, hold each other accountable, and grow together. These guidelines protect that environment so it stays useful, honest, and safe. They apply to every member, in every channel, at every time.
What you can expect from members
- Treat every member with respect, regardless of experience level.
- Share preparation, levels, and ideas clearly — and label opinions as opinions.
- Use your own analysis. Take responsibility for your own trades.
- Welcome new members and meet them where they are.
- Keep faith and values in view, but never coerce or proselytize.
What is not allowed
- No financial advice. No "buy this," "sell this," or specific recommendations to other members.
- No signal-selling, copy-trading offers, or paid groups.
- No profit screenshots, account screenshots, or P&L flexing.
- No hype, fake urgency, or guarantees — including phrases like "easy money," "high win rate," "risk-free," or "guaranteed."
- No solicitation, marketing, referral spam, or unapproved DMs.
- No promotion of unrelated communities, products, or services without explicit moderator approval.
- No harassment, slurs, hate speech, doxxing, or personal attacks.
- No illegal content, including market manipulation, pump-and-dump schemes, or insider trading discussion.
- No sharing of paid third-party content you do not have rights to redistribute.
Risk language is mandatory
Discussion of trades, levels, setups, or market structure is welcome — but must be framed as personal observation, not advice. When in doubt, add a clear disclaimer. Any educational content shared in the community follows the same standard as the website: educational only, not financial advice, trading involves substantial risk.
Moderation
Moderators may, at their discretion, remove messages, mute, time out, kick, or permanently ban members who violate these guidelines. The first response is usually a private warning; repeated or severe violations lead to removal without further notice. We do not negotiate moderation actions in public channels.
Reporting an issue
If you see behavior that violates these guidelines, contact a moderator directly through Discord. Do not engage publicly with the violator. Reports are handled privately and in good faith.
Changes to these guidelines
These guidelines evolve as the community grows. The "Last reviewed" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. By participating in the Christian Trades Live Discord, you agree to the current version of these guidelines.
